== C&B Video ==
C&B Video was an early women's wrestling production company based in the USA's Pacific northwest. Initially they sold VHS tapes via mail order; in 1995 they marketed through a now-defunct website. C&B Video's primary focus was mixed (F vs M) wrestling; although they did offer a number of F vs F titles. The latter were typically more competitive wrestling, as opposed to the risque offerings coming from other producers of the 1980s / early 1990s, such as Triumph Studios.

C&B Video was run by Alissa Wright (also one of the company's main wrestlers) and her husband. The two later divorced which may or may not have furthered the company's downfall. C&B Video's website was still active through 2009, and still at least online in January 2010; however by the summer of that year the company had ceased to exist.

The company's matches are exceedingly hard to find today. The vast bulk of the library was marketed as VHS tapes and little of it was migrated to DVD or digital. The website www.rockin-roxanne.com at one point offered some C&B Video titles, but it is unclear if it still does.

== Notable Wrestlers ==
The company's roster was almost entirely in-house and changed frequently. One major name guest wrestler was Danni Ashe. Two longtime roster members were a talented wrestler of Asian descent under the name Fuschia (who reportedly also offered session matches in the Seattle, WA area), and, the aforementioned Alissa. Tall, athletic, and beautiful; Alissa was possibly the company's main attraction.
== Santana ==
One of the most prolific women wrestlers in the pro-am / topless sub-genre, Santana worked with a huge variety of producers during her career: Academy Videos, Dani Ashe Productions, Double Trouble, Leather & Lace, O-Zone, Steel Kittens, STJ, and more. Santana was best known early on for her work with Steel Kittens, and then later for her work at Double Trouble. Santana appeared in over 100 matches with DT and along with Mia Walters, was generally regarded as the "company's face" for many years. Under her real name, Santana also had small acting parts in several B-movies.

Early in her career, Santana was primarily a "looks" wrestler, but she did work hard including martial arts lessons, and by the early 2000s her ring skills had improved considerably. Gifted with a beautiful physique, Santana was famous for her long black hair, which Steel Kittens and DT actually wrote into the storylines of several matches. Throughout her career, almost all of her matches were of the bikini wrestling variety.

During the 1990s when Santana was wrestling for Steel Kittens, a rumor passed around the early internet stated that Santana was the wrestler who portrayed Spanish Red in the 1980s G.L.O.W. promotion. They were not the same person, despite an uncanny resemblance.

Santana stepped away from the wrestling scene in 2005, but came back out of retirement shortly before her passing.

== Death ==
On 11 October 2015, the Torrance Police Department stated that Tina Lawrence was shot to death by a man she was dating. The suspect apparently then shot himself.
== Quisha Page ==
A longtime fixture in the pro-am / topless wrestling scene, Quisha began her career at the Tropicana in Los Angeles in the 1980s. Following that, Quisha has wrestled for just about every major production company over the past 25 years....California Angels, Triumph Studios, Golden Girls, Steel Kittens, STJ, Double Trouble, APL, and more. In the 2000s Quisha started her own production company which markets matches of herself and other wrestlers under the Survivor Videos and WHAM brands. Other than wrestling, Quisha is a talented dancer and also appeared as an actress in the 1990 movie "Thunder & Mud".

Amongst fans of the pro-am / topless sun-genre, Quisha has a tremendous fan base. Considering her busty physique, she is surprisingly agile in the ring and deceptively strong, and has good technical wrestling skills. She is also a convincing "seller", able to make the moves of less experienced opponents realistic.

Quisha also offers private session wrestling in the southern California area on an irregular basis.
== Jill Monroe ==
Jill Monroe (sometimes billed as Munroe) is a retired semi-pro / fantasy wrestler from Scotland who briefly established a significant fan base in the late 1990s, wrestling for Woman's World and Flamingo, both in Florida. She also occasionally wrestled in Europe.

Many of her matches are still available at the Woman's World website. In 2010, a website with the URL www.jillmonroe.net appeared, offering about three dozen of her matches. It's unclear if she is actually affiliated with the website which has not been updated for years now.

After leaving the wrestling scene, Jill became a professional trainer.
Deena Zarra is a wrestler who started in the early 1970's and the founder of [[Deena Zarra Enterprises]]. Originally involved in the 1970s S&M world, Deena (her alias) received some mainstream attention by pinning Andy Kaufmann at a Carnegie Hall performance. Following this she transitioned into the private session wrestling scene. She later ran a stable of session wrestlers in New York City known as the Amazon Explorers Club until the mid-1990s, when she retired.
== Woman's World ==
Woman's World, or more formally Woman's World Wrestling Club (WWWC), is a longstanding producer of women's wrestling videos, almost all of them in the fetish / topless / nude sub-genres. The company was founded, and is still run, by Dan Aber. Originally the studio was in a strip mall storefront in Ft. Lauderdale; later; the company moved to a loft above a bowling alley in nearby Wilton Manors.

Woman's World (the correct spelling; not Women's) has produced an astonishingly huge library of titles, over 1,100 to date featuring over 100 wrestlers. Every imaginable type of interest is represented: from traditional submission wrestling to more kink-oriented types of matches, to the just plain unusual (pugil stick bouts, hair-washing stipulations, hypnosis, etc even underwater matches).

The company has outlasted countless better-funded competitors over the decades by it's bare-basic approach to wrestling videos. There are no special effects, no on-screen graphics, no theme music, and no elaborate packaging for the videos (first VHS, now DVD) which are hand-labelled. For many years; the website was frozen in time in the "early internet era" with clip-art animated gif logos and the such. Almost nothing is spent on high-end cosmetics or costumes for the competitors. Aber scripts, films, edits, and dubs the videos himself. Periodically compilation sets are released; these are of a specific theme (only pinfalls, only submissions, only a specific wrestler, etc) and sold at special prices.

All of this allows the videos to be sold at aggressively low prices, and with the aforementioned huge number of titles. The company also has excellent service, with rapid and accurate shipping. For many years a monthly paper newsletter with additional discounts was mailed to repeat customers; of recent this has been contracted to irregular periodic mailings.

Early in the company's history it periodically had access to a ring, but almost all of the videos are shot on floor mats. The exceptions being "unusual settings"-matches such as in an office, house, or even swimming pool. Most of the matches are stand-alone, but at various points in the company's history, Woman's World attempted a Federation-type setup with a championship belt passed between wrestlers.

The quality of the wrestling varies, and is often subjective to what the viewer is looking to get out of it. Many of the wrestlers appear to be locally-recruited exotic dancers with a minimal amount of wrestling skill; however on the other end several girls on the roster are capable of at least moderately-complex maneuvers.

In the early 2010s Woman's World ceased production of new videos; at the time it had an available library of over a thousand titles. These were then migrated to streaming, as well as remaining available on DVD. Very recently, low-scale production of new material seems to be taking place. The company also arranges session matches on an ad hoc basis in the southern Florida region.

== Notable Wrestlers ==
Due to the low-budget approach, almost all of Woman's World's roster is specific to the company. None the less the company has attracted talent from as far away as Europe and South Africa. Most of the roster wrestles under simple, one-name aliases. There have been some major name exceptions; Jill Monroe, Candi Fleeman, and Vanessa Harding have all had matches with Woman's World.

Some of the in-house roster developed fan bases simply due to the huge number of matches filmed: for example, Aquel in the 1990s; then Rose, Rusty, Staci, Xena; and more recently Paula and Taylor.
== Triumph Studios ==
Triumph Studios was once a major women's wrestling producer. The company began producing videos as early as 1983, and eventually built up a substantial library of titles. For a number of years, it was regarded as the "king" producer in the genre.

Early in it's history, Triumph capitalized on the apartment wrestling concept of the late 1970s. Almost all of Triumph's videos were filmed in the setting of an empty carpeted room, and most were of the 'garter belts & rolling around'-type scripts. Later in it's history, the company did produce a small number of semi-pro style ring matches, but the apartment wrestling setting remained it's main concept. Considering that most of the matches were shot on 1980s BetaCam, the filming quality was decent to quite good.

In the pre-internet era, Triumph reached it's customers through small classified ads, which were placed in both mainstream pro wrestling magazines and small "counter-culture"-type newspapers and magazines.

Triumph Studios was still self-marketing it's own videos as late as 1995. Starting in the mid-1990s, some of it's titles were offered by other distributors as well. The company apparently ended operations in the late 1990s, which was concurrent with a huge growth in the number of competing women's wrestling producers, made possible by the then-new internet.

In the 2000s and 2010s, old Triumph Studios videos continue to enjoy a following. Various websites carry some of the titles, and www.rockin-roxanne.com has rights to nearly the whole library.

== Notable Wrestlers ==
Most of the company's roster was of low name recognition, however there were a few wrestlers who went on to later success. Shelly "The Burbank Bomber" once wrestled for Triumph Studios, as did Quisha Page early in her career. Cynara, of late 1970s apartment house photos fame, also worked for Triumph near the end of her career.
== L. Scott Sales ==

L. Scott Sales is a longstanding company in the female wrestling genre, opening in 1993. It is primarily a distributor of videos from other producers.

During it's early years (mid-1990s) the company operated on a somewhat unique format; a printed mail-order catalog could be requested by mail for a nominal sum. The catalog was often advertised in mainstream pro wrestling magazines such as Wrestling Eye.
Simultaneously, there was a licensed network of local direct VHS retailers (usually mom & pop-type video rental stores) which offered the company's lineup. Here, a customer would walk into the store and request "...the L. Scott books" (large three-ring photo binders) with the available videos, make a selection, and walk out with the video.

Towards the turn of the millennium the company increasingly shifted to internet sales, and later still in the 2000s and 2010s, online streaming and video-on-demand. Domestically, the company acquired the catfight.com URL and leather-lacetv.com URL (not to be confused with the production company Leather & Lace) and continues to use this website as it's sales flagship. In cooperation with the online Kontex network in Europe, the company's offerings are now available there, priced in Euros.

Quite surprisingly, a few relics of the early original business model continue on in 2017, including the Video Mart store in Richmond, VA which directly retails the company's offerings the same way it did in the mid-1990s.

== Lineup ==

L. Scott Sales library is massive and contains videos from a huge variety of producers, both current and long-vanished. Some examples are APL, Academy, Action Sports, Crystal, DWW, Jaguar, Joan Wise, Premier, Vortex, and many others.
