 The weather was very hot, so the first rounds of fighting were held at night when it was cooler. A shiny black plastic wrestling mat with a pink edging was used which was illuminated by a set of powerful lights. GR, the owner of DWW, now describes the video quality of these night time fights as “lousy”, but the considering the relatively primitive nature of the technical equipment available at the time the pictures are remarkably good.
