Sammi and her opponent Cassandra were almost identical in size but that was where the similarity ended. Sammi proved to be much the better wrestler, and Cassandra spent a lot of the bout flat on her back on the canvas trying desperately to avoid being pinned by her opponent, or subjected to efforts to force her legs into a "splits" position. She succeeded in doing this but eventually Sammi worked her into a body scissors from which there was no escape, and Cassandra yelled out her submission to give Sammi a well-deserved win. It was a great pity that she made no further appearances for Video Sports or any other wrestling production company as she possessed real natural ability, and it would have been fascinating to see her take on a more experienced wrestler, for example Tina.
