Both girls were keen to fight and a tough encounter resulted, with plenty of pins and submissions as they battled for supremacy. Despite her opponent having the advantage in size and weight, Samantha fought ferociously, and she used her strong legs very effectively to force Denise to submit several times to scissors holds - however when Denise got the opportunity to make use of her strength she quickly gained the upper hand, and forced several submissions herself. At the end a draw was a fair result after a vigorous fight which left both girls exhausted.
