Marie vs. Anna
TPC CT5-4
Blonde Marie and her dark-haired opponent Anna clearly enjoyed their good-natured and sporting bout, but equally both were intent on winning throughout. Marie had a significant weight advantage but Anna had had some previous wrestling matches and her greater experience was evident. She mostly had the initiative, applying pins and using body scissors holds on Marie, but did not quite have the strength to force submissions when she did so. Marie gained the upper position from time to time but was always hampered by Anna's controlling body scissors which gradually sapped her energy. The girls fought for 15 minutes without any score being achieved so, after a short break, the bout was resumed with only one score needed to decide the match. They grappled for some while on the mat, both trying to obtain a decisive headlock, but Anna then broke free and in the course of manoeuvring for a pin forced Marie's arm into a painful position, obliging her to submit and concluding a most watchable fight.
