Shannon Logan was placed 3rd in a New York Arm Wrestling Association contest in 2001. Before she moved to the submission wrestling scene she was a blue belt in jiu-jitsu and a part of Team Renzo Gracie in 2001. She gained her purple belt in 2002. She lost her only professional MMA bout to Laura D'Auguste due to TKO (corner stoppage) at 7:58 of round 1 in November 2002. She was voted the best mixed wrestler of 2002 on a poll on the MWU website. After retiring from wrestling she started her own tarot card reading business. She has founded a consulting company in 2011. Shannon also is a very accomplished artist and a filmmaker.
