DWW ran special “Greek Tournaments” during their 1995 and 1996 summer games. The events consisted of 4-way elimination tournaments between four fighters wearing “Spartan” dress. Nude apart from loin cloths, the fighters sported laurel crowns as they were introduced to the audience.

The fight between Kriszta and Kati to decide third place was undoubtedly the best fight of the tournament. Kati had won the 1995 event and she came into this fight determined to save her honour by at least getting third place in the 1996 tournament. Although the fight was not billed as a catfight Kati treated it as such by constantly grabbing Kriszta by her hair. Most of the time Kati was in control of the fight and repeatedly manoeuvred Kriszta between her legs so she could apply scissor holds. Kriszta gritted her teeth and resolutely refused to submit despite being in what appeared to be quite painful body-scissor holds. Eventually after 18 minutes of continuous combat Kati submitted to Kriszta’s combination of full-nelson and body-scissors holds. So Kriszta took third place in the tournament leaving Kati at the bottom of the table, which must have disappointed her having won the 1995 tournament.
