Asian-American wrestler Amanda Tran made a number of appearances for Academy Wrestling. She mainly competed in the SOAP erotic-style matches produced by the company. Being such a tiny girl - under 5 feet tall - her opponents needed to be carefully chosen to ensure a reasonably competitive match, and similarly petite Asian-American wrestlers Juliette Vu and Tia Ling were two girls who fitted this requirement.
