Janay made her first appearance for Academy Wrestling under the name Hannah Janssen about 2000. About the same time she started making adult movies for the online production company Kink.com.
In August 2004 she had her first fight for Kink.com's newly created erotic wrestling site Ultimate Surrender. Janay retired at the end of February 2005 undefeated after 10 fights and was a declared the champion of Ultimate Surrender's first season.
