Slim brunette Joanna made her first appearance for DWW at the Miss Amazon event held in the summer of 1996. She quickly developed into a very effective wrestler who was fast-moving and much stronger than she might have appeared at first sight.

Later in her association with DWW she increasingly worked for their HPC and TribGirls offshoots, where she was able to become involved in her preferred semi-competitive/erotic style of wrestling.
