Kelly McGill-Velasco is an MMA fighter for Invicta FC. She has a Pro MMA Record of 2-2-0. Kelly McGill-Velasco is ineligible for regional rankings due to inactivity. Interestingly enough she is taller than her husband/training partner Rolando Velasco. They seem like a lovely couple and have a son.

She seems like a grounded person. Here is her answer to how she would dress for photo-ops... QS: Ahead of your photoshoot with Questionable Stoppage we talked a lot about what the photos would look like, what you would wear, what you wouldn't wear and so on. There's been a lot of attention paid to how Female Fighter market themselves, especially the high-profile events like Ronda Rousey and Misha Tate in the ESPN Body Issue and pretty much everything Gina Corano ever did. It seems like you've though a lot about this, how do you plan on navigating these waters?

KM: "I am very against posing provocatively to make money or to gain fans. As I said earlier, I am going to stay true to myself. I wasn't raised in a family where that stuff was okay nor do I believe it is okay. I honestly care more about the younger fans in the sport and younger potential in this sport than pleasing the older crowd or being popular. I just really want to set a good example. I want to show the next generation of girls that hard work gets you to the top, not posing or dressing inappropriately.

I am a Christian and I believe my body is not meant for the whole world to see and I will stick to that. Not only do I not want to do that type of stuff to be a good role model but I believe I think more about the whole affect acting like that can have more than some other girls in the sport have. I can't fight forever and I am going to school to be a special education teacher right now, come ten years from now do I want my future employer seeing those pictures or thinking of me in that way, do I want my future kids seeing those type of pictures, most of all, do I want my dad, brother, nephews or grandparents seeing me acting like that. I would rather get to the top by working my butt off than just my looks."
