Paula vs. Marissa P
08-020
Marissa and Paula don gloves and gumshields for a 5-round full contact boxing match. Brunette Marissa is a bigger girl than blonde Paula, and has a useful advantage in weight and reach. The first round is fairly restrained and cautious as the girls feel each other out, but during the second the leather starts to fly and the round ends with Paula being caught by a strong right-hand punch. Paula tries to take the fight to Marissa in the third and is able to land some good punches, but Marissa counter-punches to good effect and forces Paula to take a standing count after one solid blow. The fourth round is fairly even, each girl landing some telling head punches and taking some in return. In the final round the action becomes wilder with the boxers slugging away at each other at times and with several heavy punches landed on each side. The last incident in the round sees Paula staggered by a straight left to the face which would have led to another standing count had the bell not rung and saved her. Marissa is given the decision on points which seemed fair as she landed more punches and had Paula in trouble more than once. It is noticeable that neither girl seems interested in punching to the body, practically every punch thrown being aimed at the head throughout the bout.
