Shannon Logan placed 3rd in a New York Arm Wrestling Association contest in 2001. Before she moved to the submission wrestling scene she was a blue belt in jiu-jitsu and a part of Team Renzo Gracie in 2002. She gained her purple belt in June 2002. She lost her only professional MMA bout to Laura D'Auguste due to TKO (corner stoppage) at 7:58 of round 1 in November 2002. She was voted the best mixed wrestler of 2002 on a poll on the MWU website. After retiring from wrestling she started her own tarot card reading business. She has founded a consulting company in 2011. Shannon also is a very accomplished artist.
