Before she moved to the submission wrestling scene Shannon Logan was a blue belt in jiu-jitsu and a part of Team Renzo Gracie in 2002. It was stated on numerous occasions that she was voted the best mixed wrestler of 2002, but no source was ever indicated. It looks like she has retired from the sports. She has founded a consulting company in 2011. Shannon also is a very accomplished artist.
