Beate was a wrestler for Amazonen Sport (AS Film) who fought over 20 times for the company. She was a slim girl but was deceptively strong for her size, and also very fast-moving, giving all of her opponents a testing fight, even the vastly experienced Susanne.
Beate tried out various styles of fighting including topless and nude wrestling, boxing and on one occasion mud wrestling. The latter was an outdoor match in a mud-filled paddling pool against the strongly-built Pinky. Although there were light-hearted moments, when the girls got down to business there was some serious wrestling with scissors, half-nelsons and headlocks, and Beate forced Pinky's head firmly into the mud several times.
