Summer 2001 Boxing Event
This match featured the experienced Barbara against Herta, a newcomer to DWW. Since Barbara enjoyed a 25lb weight advantage as well as being 3" taller than her opponent it was assumed that Herta would struggle to cope, but in the event this proved not to be the case. In a bout over eight 1-minute rounds Herta soon showed she was not intimidated by the bigger girl and confidently stepped forward time and again to match Barbara punch for punch. Barbara also enjoyed noisy vocal support from the audience, but Herta was unaffected by this and was able to quieten the crowd as she began to pick off Barbara with some heavy shots.
