Marie-Laure was a French judo champion before she started training with Beatrice Goffin in the 1980s and becoming one of her star pupils even winning against Beatrice herself in private matches. Apart from wrestling for Beatrice Goffin she fought several matches for other organisations most notably DWW and TPC. She was a strong and skilful wrestler as can been seen for her record in the table below.

Two of the toughest women on the amateur circuit now meet
to settle their differences in the ring. Both are topless, both are well built,
both clearly mean business from the first bell.
The rules are introduced as being "Semi-Professional Style”. Marie-Laure clearly relishes the opportunity to play the traditional pro-style villain, and
takes every opportunity to aggravate her opponent, slapping and kicking her
between falls and refusing to shake hands.
Although Lena is aggressive, Marie-Laure's hugely formidable technique allows
