Mia appears to have wrestled and boxed exclusively for Double Trouble Wrestling during the 1990s in topless and bikini fights, mainly in the ring. She was probably the most popular DT wrestler of her era, offering as she did a combination of good looks, a superbly athletic body and a genuine aptitude and enthusiasm for fighting, despite regularly losing matches (one match review stated that "Mia has turned losing into an art form").
Because of the length of her association with DT she was matched against many of the major stars of female wrestling at one time or another - her opponents included Francesca, Hollywood, Tina, Kristie and Raven
She also acted in adult movies under the names Lia Barren and Lia Baron.
