Yvonne vs. Alexandra – GM2118, 20 Oct 1990
In just her second nude match at the GMC Yvonne was facing a more experienced opponent in Alexandra. The match was fought in three rounds under a unique set of rules. In the first round, the fighters were topless and wore wrestling boots. In the second round the briefs were removed and the fighters wore just the wrestling boots. Then in the final round the boots were removed and the last round was fiught in the nude.
Yvonne, who was some 5 inches (12cm) taller than Alexandra, made an impressive start with two attempts to score a pin in opening two minutes of the fight. However Alexandra was able to escape each time due to her greater experience of this close-body style of wrestle. The fight was then briefly paused while the two fighters removed their bikini style pants.
The fight restarted and once again Yvonne went on the offensive immediately taking Alexandra to the mat and trying to pin her. Alexandra fought back rolling her younger opponent onto back, but Yvonne once again was able to take control and try for a pin. The second round was ended quite abruptly with the score still 0-0 and there followed a protracted 3 minute break while Yvonne and her team struggled to remove her boots.
Now fully naked the two fighters threw themselves energetically into round 3. It was once again Yvonne who was the most aggressive holding Alexandra to the mat with a number of impressive pin attempts (see gallery below). Finally some 10 minutes into the fight Yvonne was able to hold Alexandra pinned to the mat for the count of ten to get her first point. After another short break the match continued and his time it was Alexandra who went on the attack clearly determined not to let herself be defeated by her younger rival. Alexandra tumbled her tall opponent to the mat and quickly pressed her to the mat in a controlling hold. Yvonne fought vigorously to escape, but this time Alexandra had the better of her and was able to control the hold for the count of ten. With less than a minute left on the clock the match continued without a break and now it was Yvonne who went on the attack. The feisty young woman tried another two times to get a pin before the bell rang out ending the match with the score at a 1-1 draw.
