Jeanne Basone is an American professional wrestler, actress, model and stuntwoman, best known by her ring name Hollywood in the women's wrestling promotion Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling (GLOW) founded by David McLane. She made her first appearance as Hollywood in 1986 for GLOW and continued her association with the company until 1989 when it folded. Subsequently she developed a career as one of the iconic stars of the female fighting genre, working as a wrestler and boxer for numerous companies including Les Femmes Fatales, Joan Wise Productions, JMRolen, Steel Kittens and DT Wrestling amongst others.

In 1998 she also branched out into running her own production company, Webkitten, which was later rebranded as Hollywould Productions - here she took part in numerous mixed matches as well as many semi-competitive bouts against opponents such as Francesca Le. Hollywould is still in operation today.

Hollywood vs. Ariel X

DT-957-01 HOLLYWOOD’S X RATING

Hollywood, a middle-aged woman pro wrestler in her late 40s, faced Ariel X, a young standout fighter, in the squared circle of DT who had gained fame in Ultimate Surrender. At the time, Ariel was a rookie at DT with only a few matches under her belt, but there was no doubt about her skills, having built a solid record in unscripted competitive wrestling. Hollywood showed some early attacks and holds, but Ariel quickly countered, demonstrating that her grappling skills were impressive and threatening even in fantasy wrestling. Eventually, Hollywood was humiliated when her bikini top was removed by Ariel before the match reached its midpoint, and from there Ariel's one-sided assault began. Having gained full control of the match, Ariel showcased striking moves that she couldn't use in Ultimate Surrender due to the rules, brutally tormenting and destroying the legendary middle-aged female pro wrestler, whose boobs were exposed, until the end of the match. Hollywood ended up with a miserable result, becoming a nutriment for Ariel to become a legend at DT, but fetish wrestling fans who know Ariel's strength and skill would not mock Hollywood for facing such a powerful opponent who was 23 years younger.
