Puma was introduced to Beatrice Goffin by her friend and gym mate, Anne Hurricane and she was trained by them . Puma first trained with Anne in boxing and kickboxing in 2002. After two amateur fights Puma began to train with Beatrice and Michele, Beatrice's husband in female submission wrestling. By 2003 Puma was making custom Fem vs Fem and mixed matches for Beatrice's production company was well as APL and ASFILM. Puma made Fem wrestling, cat fights, and mixed matches at a prolific rate from 2003-2006 in Belgium, Germany, Portugal, Austria, England, and the USA. Her last competitive tournament was for ASFILM where she made 3 topless competitive and 1 cat fight in October 2006. Puma then fully retired.
Puma's style is best described as "catch as catch can." A blend of folk style and submission grappling. This style was very popular with the production companies of the day as it allowed for no joint locks or chokes which made for longer and more difficult matches better suited to audiences and video format. Petite, strong, and stocky, (a bit like a gymnast's build) this style suited Puma well and in competitive matches against girls of similar size and ability Puma won more matches than she lost.
Puma's retirement in 2006 was precipitated by a shoulder injury sustained in a competitive match at DWW in the summer of 2005. A tough girl, she finished the tournament winning 3 out of 4 matches. The injury required surgery to correct and, in the writer's opinion, was part of the reason Puma retired.
Puma is remembered for her beautiful smile, voluptuous body, bubbly personality, and fighting ability. Fully retired and detached from female combat, she lives quietly with her son in Wallonia (Belgium).
