Women’s Wrestling Convention (WWC)

The Women's Wrestling Convention (WWC) was an annual female wrestling event held in San Diego, California. The event debuted in 1998 and also had editions in 1999, 2000 and 2008. It was founded by David C. “Jackpin” Jackson and the operated by his Women’s Combative Sports Association (WCSA).

The events featured a variety of submission, semi-competitive and pro wrestling matches plus opportunities for fans to buy videos from different producers, have sessions and meet their favorite female wrestlers.

The first ever WWC match was a submission wrestling bout featuring Helen Von Mott and Momo. A number of DWW wrestlers were amongst the competitors in the first three events, and well-known referee Jeff Long was also involved.

The WWC events in 1998, 1999 and 2000 were profiled by Fighting Females magazine.
